The elastic original Kinesiology Tape is used to support healing processes in sports injuries and in case of overload reactions. Depending on the tape technique used and in combination with movement, the connective tissue and muscle receive a kind of permanent massage, improve the microcirculation between the skin and muscles. The treatment stimulates the pain-reducing (analgesic) system of the body, muscle and joint functions can be supported and improved.

The different colored Kinesiology Tapes have no special active ingredients ans also no different strenghts. The variety of colors results from findings of the Japanese color therapy. According to this, certain processes in the body can be influenced by different colors. Red, pink, orange promote muscle relaxation; blue colors can have a calming, cooling and anti-inflammatory effect. Black has a supporting and strengthening effect; beige, yellow, white neutral and balancing. Green is said to have a harmonizing effect.
Above all, it is important that the patient is “sympathetic” to the color and can choose it himself. Thus, the choice of color ha an important, pratical and psychological effect.
